In FHIR the “PractitionerRole” resource is a specific set of data that describes the relationship between an individual practitioner and a specific location. It brings together information about the treatment site, the specialties and services that can be done by the practitioner at that site and the practitioner’s availability there, i.e. details of what the practitioner does, where and when.

A practitioner will have multiple PractitionerRole associations if they see patients at more than one treatment site.

The eBooking platform contains the ability to upload as much information about the practitioner required for an end user to book with confidence.
